Happy Sunday Sixers! Thanks for stopping by! I always appreciate the comments and encouragement. I look forward to hopping around to other blogs and reading what other talented authors have shared!
I'm continuing with my YA Paranormal book, ONCE AND FOR ALL, the sequel to ONCE AGAIN, which is now available (links to the right), and was reviewed this week at Night Owl Reviews! ONCE AND FOR ALL follows Phoebe Campbell and Todd Miller as they encounter their own reincarnation mystery. Last week we saw Phoebe and Todd wind up paired together for an art project, much to Phoebe's dismay. Today's snippet is an excerpt from the conversation Phoebe and Todd have immediately following class that day. Phoebe gives Todd permission to let her do all the work and just put his name on it. To her surprise, he says he actually wants to help. And she's not exactly happy about that!
"I just want to pull my weight," he said, going on the defensive. "The project's for a grade."
"And we wouldn't want this stupid art class to blow your sparkling 2.0 GPA."
It wasn't often I got the chance to really speak my mind to the Sky Cove elite, but when it happened, I usually enjoyed it.
Strange that I wasn't loving this snarky exchange.
Todd's eyes went to the cell phone clutched in my left hand, and before I even had a chance to wonder what his next move would be, he'd grabbed the phone from my hand.
Be sure to visit the official Six Sentence Sunday site to find the list of great authors. You can also follow along on Twitter with the hashtag #SixSunday.
